St Patrick’s Day!!!

The Praton Saint of Ireland is St Patrick. He was born in Great Britain in 385. When he was 16 he was captured by Pirates and taken to Ireland where he was put to work as a slave. During this time he was lonely and afraid but he learned to rely on God. He grew closer to God and his Faith was strengthened. After 6 years he escaped to France. He decided to train to become a priest. It was not long before he was made as a pagan country. Patrick set about preaching and teach the people about the Jesus Christ. He walked around the whole country and thousand of people became Chrsitian as the result of his work. Ther are many famous legends about Patricks life. He believed to have rid Ireland of snakes. He used a Shamrock to teach people about the trinity. Today we celebrate St Ptraicks day on 17 March. Irish Christians have traveled all over the world to spread the Gospel of Jesus that Patrick bourght to Ireland. On St Patrick day we wear Green to show we remember the green countryside of Ireland and the man who bourght Christianity to its shores many years ago. St Patrick was very brave and we ask him to help us in time of Trouble.

In my spare time I like going to the swimming pool and play basketball and play rugby.
In my family I have 3 brothers and 2 sister and my mum and dad.
My favourite subject at school is writing and reading and also maths.

Bullying!!!!

Hello have been bullied? well now today I am going to talk about what bullying is. Bullying is when they start and argument and they start being mean to you and then you start a very huge fight. When I got bullied what I did is I walked away and then ignore them and the worst thing if I did not walk away then i’ll be joining the fight and mocking other people.

What is bullying to you? Bullying to me is when they start a argument and they start mocking other people and then they start a fight, fighting is very bad because you might cry when they mock your mum or dad.

Types of bullying is jealousy and cyber bullying the type of bullying that I am into is jealous because when my brother wears cool shoes I get very jealous  because I want them so what I do I bully him so when I bully him he cries. When my mum get me to get attention I don’t listen to her I keep on doing my homework so me and her start arguing.

How I can solve my problem is by saying sorry to my mum and brother for fighting with you and then my mum will give me a hug and then I will say she is the best mum in the world. When I say sorry to my brother he says I don’t want to be sorry and then I go and tell my mum and then she says to be sorry and then he says sorry then me and him goes and be best brother in the world and then he says should we go shops and by us two lollies

My opinion is to do the right choices and following the rules to not fight and mock other people so they can cry and make them very upset and sad.

Cyclone Lusi!!!!

The scariest cyclone was when my tree fell on my roof and my roof nearly broke down and I was very scared because I thought a plane engine fell on top of the roof. Later on me and my mum went outside and checked but it was the tree that fell on my roof.

The next day we went to church and when we came back from church my next door neighbor's tree fell on the powerline so my mum called the fire station and the fire truck came to our house and my mum went out and talked to them and then the fire man fixed the powerline but there was no power because the house across the road there tree fell on the power line again so the fire truck came again because they just left and then the fire man got very angry and then he told the crew to come and fix the powerline again because he was tired of fixing the powerline.

After that the rain came and then my trampoline fell upside down so me and brother was the only ones awake and then me and him put on our rain jackets and our gumboot and then we went outside and then we carry the trampoline up again and then we came back inside and watched tv.

The next day the cyclone lusi stopped and the rain stopped so my dream came alive and so the rain and cyclone stopped.
